Have any ideas for a good story-line?

I've been wanting to write a novel for quite a while now but I have a dilemma, the story-line. I have almost finished the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer and to say I absolutely LOVE it, is an understatement. I was thinking about do something like that: A love story including my own twist on a traditional horror movie character... But I'm not quite sure... I'd just like to take as many ideas as possible. Please be specific and include as much as you can. Thanks :)
