Huge muscle spasms in right arm?

I'm having muscle spasms in my right arm right about where you'd get a shot. They're very strong pulsating. It's like a heartbeat, probably a little stronger. It doesn't exactly hurt, but I feel it happening and it's strange and annoying. How can I stop it? Or will I just have to wait..? Thanks!
