I sent a letter to the President; did anyone else have this experience?

A few months ago, in January, I sent the President a letter... I was extremely delighted yesterday when I saw a letter with my name written on it, from "THE WHITE HOUSE, WASHINGTON, DC 20500"... When I wrote the letter, it wasn't for a school assignment (I'm fifteen, fourteen when I had written it...) When I started reading through it, to say I was a bit let down is an understatement. I mean, I know they didn't have to write back, but nothing would've been better than an automated response that didn't even answer my question, especially when it started out, "Dear Student..." Has anyone else ever recieved a letter from the President? Was it automated, or one he took the time to write personally?
