Sony bravia 32" motion blur is really bad?

So I recently bought a sony bravia 32" LCD television. on hd cable the picture looks amazing a little blur but nothing to complain about. When i plugged in my ps3 and tried out god of war 3 with an hdmi cable, the motion blur was terrible, whenever you move there's a blur cloud just following. When I don't move at all it looks better. I also tried some games on my xbox like gta 4 and halo... again I got the same motion blur problem. Is there some way to reduce the motion blur? I've already tried to turn off noise reduction etc. and whatever I do it still looks pretty bad :( I have no idea if I could return this tv back, if I can't i'm stuck with something I don't enjoy. If there is a fix to this? Please help me out!
