Why has my father changed towards my fiance and I?

Yes that was wrong and very hurtful. Is there something going on with your dad that could cause him to not be himself? any meds, sickness, ect.? Have you talked to your mom? When it comes to a father and his daughter he will do anything for her. Like my mom used to say : when you stand too close to a picture you see whats infront of you, but when you step back and look you can see the whole picture. Maybe he is seeing something that you may not and he doesnt know how to respond to it. Maybe he didnt realize HOW he said that to you. My dad would say things to me and not realize how he said them and it would hurt my feelings. Of course my mom would jump in and correct him and he would apoligize to me and explain why and what he really meant. Talk to your mom and let her know how it hurt you and how upset you are. If he really meant it and has nothing to say then idk? your dad really has issues. Im sorry you are dealing with this. I know how hard it is to feel like your dad isnt your dad anymore. :( I pray things get better. -
